Longest river through every EU country

  1. Something went really, really wrong here. Apart from words being in odd places, do the flags indicate the longest river within each country? Then just how is Drava the longest river in Italy? It passes two villages before flowing into Austria. And how is the Rhine the longest river in France? That’s the Loire, followed by Seine and Rhône.

For the Netherlands it’s near impossible to tell because it’s a whole network of rivers that change name all the time.

The one in Sweden shouldn’t count. It’s clearly a huge lake in the middle of it, that lake is also the biggest lake in EU.

There used to be part of citizenship exams in Germany to know the 5 main rivers in Germany.

    This is an odd choice.

The Po is about 650 kms long, why isn’t it shown?

With only 10 km of the Drava in Italy, it’s hardly the longest in Italy.

  5. Interesting, but weird, if you look at Italy or France. Then again, great for pubquizzes, I shall definitely use the fact that the longest river that also runs through Italy is the Drava.

  6. Why is this based on the EU? If it’s geography and rivers surely it would make more sense to be Europe in general, not just members of a customs union and governing body?

Why not longest river in Europe?
Why longest river in European Union, FFS…
It’s all there on one map, spaker…. 🤦🏻‍♂️

  8. Why does Sava start on the other side of Slovenia? It’s at least 100km away from it’s source. Shitty map porn.

Post-Brexit UK is now so irrelevant it’s only useful as a location for labels about the EU’s rivers.

  10. The fact that Drava originates in Italy was always a mindfuck. This is just adds another layer to it 🙂

  11. The Danube is the overall longest river to reach Hungary, but its tributary Tisza has a longer section in Hungary
