Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratyuk visited Finland and held a meeting with the Ukrainian community in Helsinki, during which they discussed current topics and directions of support.

    According to the Embassy of Ukraine in Finland, in collaboration with the Association of Ukrainians in Finland (AUF), the embassy and a public organization organized the event to unite the country’s Ukrainian diaspora.

    The participants discussed issues of the current state in Ukraine, the needs of citizens abroad, the damages inflicted by Russia and ways to compensate them, as well as aid projects and support programs.

    The head of the Association of Ukrainians in Finland, Vasyl Hutsul, shared information about the organization’s activities and its structural units, in particular the Center for Ukrainian Assistance.

    The Ambassador of Ukraine to Finland, Mykhailo Vidoynyk, stressed the importance of unity within the Ukrainian community at this time and urged continued support for Ukraine.

    As previously reported, Kondratyuk also visited Estonia, which became the first country to officially join the Steering Committee of the Special Tribunal.
