Nobu
adding in the Caribbean. Nobu Hospitality is partnering with James Packer and Daniel Shamoon to
open the Nobu Beach Inn as part of The Beach Club, Barbuda, a resort and
residential community on the Caribbean Island of Barbuda. Set across 400 acres
and two miles of beachfront on the island’s southwest coast, the Nobu Beach Inn
will feature 17 individual villas and 25 beachfront residences. Construction is
set to be completed in late 2026.
Ruby adds
in Italy. Munich,
Germany-based Ruby Group is partnering with Kervis SGR S.p.A. to grow its
presence in Italy with a new 128-key Ruby Hotels project in Milan. Following
successful openings in Florence and Rome, this will mark Ruby’s third location
in Italy. As part of the IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio, the hotel is
projected to open in 2028.
Tampa
hotel trades. Sarasota, Florida-based Floridays Development Co. has sold the 125-key Home2
Suites Tampa Brandon in Florida to Massachusetts-based AAM 15 Management LLC
for an undisclosed amount. Berkadia assisted with the transaction, which closed
on February 12. The hotel was built in 2018.
AJ
Capital selling in UK. AJ Capital Partners is putting a 148-key Graduate by Hilton hotel in
Cambridge, U.K., up for sale for over £60 million, according to multiple
reports. CBRE is marketing the property and accepting offers between £60 and
£65 million. The hotel had renovations in 2021.
Hotel
opening at UVA. The
214-key Virginia Guesthouse Hotel & Conference Center will open in April in
Charlottesville, Virginia, on the University of Virginia (UVA) campus. The new
property, owned by the UVA Foundation, will feature three F&B outlets and
more than 25,000 sq. ft. of meeting and event space.
Radisson
adds in the UAE. Dubai-based BNW Developments is partnering with Radisson Hotel Group to
introduce the first Radisson Blu Hotel and Radisson Blu Residences in RAK
Central, marking the brand’s entry into Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE. The
development will anchor RAK Central, a commercial and lifestyle hub in the
city.
