Men’s curling continues to enchant the masses of Olympic enthusiasts, drawing increased viewership with each passing match. No side has contributed more to the competition’s growing might than the Canadians — albeit that might not be for all the right reasons.

Team Canada has dominated on the slippery apparatus thus far, with only Switzerland posting a better record than the Canadians’ 7-2 mark. Their displays haven’t been without controversy, though.

No side has proved more polarizing in the bracket than the group hailing from the Great White North. A Feb. 15 joust with Sweden ended in a yelling match, with a Swedish player accusing Canada’s Marc Kennedy of double-touching stones to gain an advantage.

Kennedy didn’t take too kindly to the assertion. He responded with some choice words of his own, telling the Swedish player to  “f— off.”

The incident drew international attention. The Canadians kept on winning in spite of it, securing a spot in the tournament semifinals against Norway. Can they keep their winning streak alive — and set up a gold-medal berth in the process?
