Two wanted persons with international warrants extradited from Germany to Kosovo

The Directorate for International Police Cooperation, in coordination and cooperation with other relevant units of the Kosovo Police and justice institutions, announces that it has successfully carried out the extradition of two wanted persons with international warrants.

The police announced that “the extraditions were carried out on February 17 and 19, 2026, after the suspects were arrested by German authorities, who were wanted through Interpol, one for the criminal offenses of “attempted murder” and “unlicensed possession of weapons” while the other for the criminal offense of “aggravated theft.”

The suspects, after extradition, were handed over to the relevant police units to continue with other legal procedures, the announcement continues.

“The Kosovo Police will continue to exchange information with local institutions, states and international organizations with the aim of preventing, investigating and detecting criminal activities related to the investigation of perpetrators of criminal offenses, as well as other activities in tracking, capturing and arresting criminal persons and groups operating inside and outside the country,” the announcement concludes.
