Honestly, who exactly were we trying to fool with that ‘sapiens’ thing?

Are people in Texas smarter than in the Northeast, or did they just not check for “duelen los ojos” as well?

I want to see an even more in depth map for that… maybe layered over major cities… and then layered over ranking systems of education in those 48 states, and see how many comparisons we can find…

I don’t understand what’s surprising about this. Why wouldn’t you expect to see such a pattern? Like you could probably follow the path of a winter cold snap and see increased searches for “frostbite.” Like how is this not the expected outcome?
Also using data from the five days before the event is crazy. Probably includes searches like “will my eyes hurt” or “does the eclipse make your eyes hurt” or “why does the eclipse make your eyes hurt” leading up to the thing.

Why does the data start 5 days before the eclipse?

It’s not that many people, look at the map legend in the top left. The dark color is only 80.

I tried to hand a flat earther co-worker a pair of eclipse viewing glasses.

He said he didn’t believe in the eclipse.
But. It’s. Right. There.
Look!
