Another thing is that Türkan is the only village in Baku with a turkic name; most of the others originate from arabic or persian.

  2. Baku is known to be a culturally Azerified region. It was majority Tat only like 150 years ago. Azeri Turks fully native to Baku are simply Tats that got assimilated. Based on the genetics Azerbaijan has many regions like that.

But the word tat in turkic means “yad” they are known for migration to Azerbaijan from Iran. They are not indeginous as well. But also i have seen vice versa version of these map where whole Baku was turkic and the yellow upper parts were Tat.

  4. Hövsan and Zire were also “Tatar” but this map doesn’t show it. Another version shows it btw

Nations are fake and not based on anything. Assimilation is very common and happened all over the world, so no surprise.
