Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait to Armenia, Muhammad Tarek Ali Al-Oraifan.
Welcoming the guest, Mayor Avinyan expressed interest in establishing partnership relations between Yerevan and Kuwait.
Tigran Avinyan emphasized that Yerevan is a vibrant and rapidly developing capital with significant potential for modernization and innovation, and in this context attaches importance to the implementation of joint programs with partner cities to develop urban infrastructure and to develop smart solutions.
Expressing gratitude for the readiness for cooperation, Ambassador Muhammad Tarek Ali Al-Oraifan noted that he will do everything possible within the framework of his powers to establish relations between the two capitals and implement practical programs.
During the meeting, the Mayor of Yerevan also presented to the Ambassador major urban development projects that may arouse investment interest.
