There’s a contingent of people going around on social media now, claiming that the US government is sending a message against Armenia, and that the Armenian government "remains silent" about this supposed snub.
Their proof in question is a random infographic that lists members of the Board of Peace. Of course, if you pay any iota of attention, you’ll notice that this is clipped from MSNBC. Chris Jansing is a news anchor, and the name of their program is literally on the bottom. I found the original clip here. This is clearly NOT from the US government. I’d expect more from Harry Istepanian, who appears to be a policy expert that has worked with The Washington Institute.
Furthermore, you’ll notice that the Armenian flag is clearly present in the third image from the actual Board of Peace inauguration.

It’s crazy how often Armenian experts and professionals spew bullshit on Twitter and Facebook and how easily they fall for misinformation. I feel like we need a mass reeducation campaign on doing research and finding facts and sources.
It’s also convenient that we’re seeing a rise in this kind of behaviour right before the elections.
Aliyev’s tweet is fake too
Edit: I thought Aliev tweeted this with the photo attached recently and not back in 2015
That picture excluding Armenia is likely for the best, regardless what the US intends. That picture is being spread as meme bait and people are clowning on the countries in the pic. All of them. Discount NATO is being used to describe this coalition, at best.
