And of course, we couldn’t not check in with her mentor, Philippa Naudi, who guided Lisa through the competition.
Her reaction to the win? Pure disbelief.
“I didn’t expect it at all. I kept my expectations to a minimum, but she won!”
As for mentoring Lisa, Philippa admitted it wasn’t exactly easy, but not for the reasons you’d think.
“To be honest, because Lisa is so good at everything, since she can sing anything and it’ll sound good, it was more difficult to narrow down exactly what really suits her.”
