It would be nice if there were a topographic layer so that the actual alps were visible. The country colors are too dark and too similar. IMO this fails as map porn.

So Italy, which controls the whole southern side of the Alpine arch has less than Austria, which only has less than one fourth of the northern side, shared with Germany…!
