Do you ever just stand there, and gaze at the tall, endless trees, and realise how small and insignificant you really are?

  1. We are just inhabiting one chapter in the trillion chapter book that is life…….

Thats why i try to make things easier and better for the little creatures trying to survive.

Leaving out bird food, planting fruit bearing plants, not killing bugs.

  2. I don’t think about being insignificant. I don’t think about myself at all, which is even better. I think about how magnificent trees are.

No, for me being among them, I feel welcomed by them and like I am a part of/belong to them. It feels like going home. It’s familiar and mysterious all at once but my body recognises it and the trees and birds answer back.

It doesn’t make me feel insignificant at all. I feel extremely important and honoured to belong and to be in relationship with such a beautiful and wise system that is planet Earth.

  4. It’s not just their height. Most of the trees that surround us have been here long before we were born and will still be here long after we pass on.

  5. I once went fishing with some friends and ended up spending quite a while just marveling at the form of a white pine tree next to the lake. Trees are great!
