Hey everyone! I’m from Belgium and I’m travelling to Armenia with some friends in a couple of weeks (5-14 April); one of us is from Armenia originally, but born and raised in Belgium 🙂 . We’ve already got our itinerary, but I was wondering if you, as locals/Armenia experts, could advise us on things to do or if some touristic stuff isn’t worth doing.
We will arrive in Yerevan and spend our first day there. What are some cool or interesting things to do/visit (historical buildings, bars/clubs to go to, …)
In the picture below you can see our route. We already have activities, such as the longest cable car, monasteries, swinging bridge, baking Armenian bread, wine tasting, and more.

On the road from Sevan to Yerevan, be sure to pull off the highway to see the Yuri Gagarin Monument. The people in the village were really friendly and showed us around.

If you’re going in the summer, this is my favourite spot to swim in Sevan and soak up the Soviet feel. There’s always shashlik and beer to be had.
