From March 19th to April 11th, 2026, Nintendo will open its first pop-up store in Bochum, Germany. This Nintendo pop-up store in Germany is the second of its kind in a shopping center in Europe.
Official Nintendo Stores are located in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto (Japan), as well as in New York and San Francisco (USA). The upcoming, limited-time pop-up store in Germany is located in Westfield Ruhr Park in Bochum (Am Einkaufszentrum 1, 44791 Bochum).
The Nintendo pop-up store in Germany presents a wide selection of official Nintendo merchandise – from plush toys, pins, and keychains to comfortable clothing, stylish bags, and home accessories. Exclusive items, only available in permanent Nintendo stores in Japan, are also offered.
The range includes some of the most famous Nintendo franchises, including Super Mario , The Legend of Zelda , Donkey Kong , Animal Crossing , Pikmin , Splatoon and Kirby .
You can also get an impression of the My Mario product line. These are Mario products designed so that younger children and their parents can enjoy them together.
You are also invited to take part in a free virtual walk using the Pikmin Bloom app. To participate, simply scan a QR code with your smartphone while in Bochum using the app. As a small gift, you will receive Pikmin-style sticky notes when you visit the pop-up store (while supplies last).
Those who want to be among the first to visit the Nintendo POP-UP STORE in Germany can reserve tickets for the opening week (March 19-21, 2026) starting March 5th . By reserving a date and time slot, you guarantee your visit to the POP-UP STORE without long waiting times. Further information about registration can be found on Nintendo Germany’s social media channels.
From the regular opening of the POP-UP STORE on March 23rd, reservations will no longer be required. A standard queuing system will then apply.
