The wheels of the offseason have turned to Indianapolis for the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine. Of course, the main objective over the course of this multi-day spectacle is to get an up-close look at some of the top prospects entering the NFL Draft later this spring. That said, there are side stories to the combine that are arguably even more fascinating.
On Tuesday, general managers and head coaches from across the NFL will step to the podium and speak to the gaggle of reporters on hand in Indy. While questions about how they view this upcoming draft will undoubtedly be part of the conversation, so will other personnel matters with free agency, the franchise tag deadline, and various contract situations looming. This is also an event where trade talks tend to percolate with everyone under the same roof, so this could be a very busy spot on the league calendar.
