I managed to contact the Russian soldier who filmed this video and after some talk he sent me this video which has never been released. I decided to create a channel (link in the watermark on the video) where I added some extra related information.

Yeah…you ORCs are gonna need to replace the top rotor, engine, windshield wipers, wheels, rear rotor, weapons systems, fuel tank, stick shift, brakes, hydraulics, storage compartments, windshields, seats, door handles, seat belts, navigation systems, and all the other stuff I forgot to name. Oh…I almost forgot: And the pilots. Yeah…I think you’re gonna need 2 more ORCs.

Also, you’re gonna have to paint it all over again…although I like that charcoal black color. It looks good on it.

Takes me back to Afghanistan. I was there with the mujahideen. Not watching from a desk. On the ground. People liked to call them savages. Easy word. Lazy, too. I saw how fast they learned. We put Stingers in their hands. Gave them the basics. That was enough. Soviet gunships started dropping out of the sky. You can underestimate a man in sandals if you want. I did not. I was standing beside him when he pulled the trigger.

  3. I’m surprised they didn’t see it. Head-on attack in clear conditions and they don’t react at all. Where were they looking?

Not to say they could do anything about it, but I’d expect at least the beginning of an evasive maneuver or something.

    SLAVA UKRAINI!

Well done, sláva Ukraíni! Heroyam Slava! 🇺🇦🇨🇭🇺🇦🇨🇭🇺🇦

  5. listen I’ll admit I havent been following this conflict as well as a well informed citizen of the world should…but can we call it something else? manpads? Like they choose to call the thing they have manpads? lol

  6. The odd thing in both these videos is that the Russian filming didn’t react. Just quietly kept the chopper in frame. I would expect at least some expletive or acknowledgment.
