Why is Chevron still conducting business in Russia in the first place? And fuck that, you don’t prosecute a war based on what companies may or may not be impacted. I mean Ukraine is literally in the fight of their lives right now….

Chevron should understand that if they have operations in a combat zone, they can expect combat losses. The simple solution is to stop operations in Russia or its vassal states.

  3. Remember how the US warns Russia every time there’s a Russian attack on US company locations in Ukraine? Me neither. Because it never happens.

So just keep doing what you’re doing, Ukraine.

  4. “Defend yourself but only if it doesn’t affect our corporate interests.”

Embarrassment of a country. How about you stop trying to undermine your supposed allies and democracies and not suck up to Russia at every possible moment? I know you salivate at the thought of getting first in-line at any business opportunity in a post-sanctions Russia but there is more to the world than money.

  5. What leverage does the USA think they have at this point? All the aid getting sent to Ukraine is being bought by Europe now, they aren’t giving Ukraine fuck all.

  6. US stays quiet when Russia attacks American companies in Ukraine like the recent strike on Mondelez. Trump is a Russian asset.

  7. These hypocrites were calling out India over Russian oil purchase while they are in bed with Russian oil industry

  8. There are British and Italian companies in the Caspian Pipeline project, not just US companies … but only the US are sending warnings.

Trump uses every excuse he can to put pressure on Ukraine while never putting any pressure on Russia.

So, US companies are still working hand in hand with Russia ?

    They should be prosecuted.

  10. It will take decades for Russia to recover after this war. It will take decades for the us to recover after trump

  11. Let me get this straight, they’re scolding Ukraine for hitting a business, but they’re completely silent when Russia has hit several US businesses in Ukraine?

  12. Chevron making money ethically in …Russia?? US administration is warning the wrong people.

  13. Yes never mind the hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians dying; we need to protect the investment of faceless Chevron at all costs.

Anybody warning Russia about bombing American businesses in Ukraine? Didn’t think so

Once again Ukraine shows it’s increasing strength and resilience while the pathetic, predictable Trump administration shows it’s disdain for assistance to the people of Ukraine and it’s support for the Russian warmongering genocidal dictator.
    Stay strong Ukraine.

So why isn’t the US warning Russia over all the hits in Ukraine that are destroying US business interests. A Mondelez Warehouse was hit just this week in ukraine, not a peep from the diddler in chief.

If a US aligned Food Warehouse is a legitimate target, then a Chevron aligned oil refinery is also a legitimate target.

  17. Why are we supporting business in Russia?
You took the risk and get all the benefits and problems. Suck it up Mr capitalist!
