23-year-old Ron Raci is going through one of the best periods of his career. The Kosovar defender has taken a starting place at Croatian giants HNK Hajduk Split, becoming one of the team’s key points in recent weeks.
In an interview with Telegrafi, he spoke about adapting to Croatia, his goals with the club, and his dreams with the Kosovo National Team.
Raçi admits that the beginning was not easy, but now he feels fully integrated into the new environment.
“I’m happy to be playing in every match. Like every start, it takes time to adapt, but now I feel very good and this has helped me to improve every day and show my game,” he said.

His recent performances have been impressive, to the point where he has been included in the team of the week twice. According to him, the key to success lies in work and self-confidence.
“Since day one in Split, my goal has been to become a key player for the team. I have a lot of self-confidence and I work every day to be the best in my position. I think this is just the beginning,” Raçi emphasized to Telegrafi.
As for the future, the defender does not hide his big ambitions, although he currently remains focused on Hajduk.
“I have big dreams and I will work hard to achieve them. For now, I am focused here and I hope we win trophies. Any club is achievable if you work hard, then the others will come naturally,” he declared, amid speculation linking him to big European clubs.

In the championship, Hajduk is five points behind GNK Dinamo Zagreb, but Raci strongly believes in the title.
“Dinamo is a very strong team, but the competition started in the first week and will continue until the end. The motivation within the team is very high and we are convinced that we can be declared champions. We have to be careful in every match,” he said.
The Kosovo National Team remains an important chapter for him. Raçi is eagerly awaiting the team’s March matches and hopes to give his maximum contribution.
“I always eagerly await the invitation from the National Team. I am ready and very prepared to play in both matches,” he said, adding that he fully believes in the quality of the group and in the possibility of achieving a historic qualification to the World Cup.

In the end, he also had a message for the Kosovar fans: “We will take the match against Slovakia as the final. We will not travel to return with our heads down, but to continue our path to the World Cup.”
Raci, who took his first steps at KF Ramiz Sadiku and then excelled with FC Prishtina, is proving that moving to Croatia has been a big, but well-deserved step in his career.
With his current form, he has not only gained trust in Split, but is becoming one of the most promising names in Kosovar football. /Telegraph/
