PPC Group Deputy CEO for Renewable Energy, Konstantinos Mavros, presented the PPC Group’s strategy in Romania in an interview he gave during the ZF Power Summit 2026 – Romania’s largest energy conference – that took place in Bucharest this week.
“PPC Renewables Romania has already doubled its installed capacity to 1.5 gigawatts, aiming for 2 GW of renewable energy sources by the end of the year,” Mavros said, and listed a series of RES projects that are at various stages of construction in Romania, including the iconic wind farm at Vaslui.
