Sarajevo, February 25, 2026, SPA — The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has begun implementing the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ gift program for distributing dates in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The program covers 20 tons of dates, benefiting more than 80,000 Muslims across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The program is being carried out by the religious attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Sarajevo.
A ceremony was held on Ramadan 6, 1446 AH, at King Fahd Cultural Center in Sarajevo. It was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Anas Al-Wusaidi and a number of officials.
The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to serve Islam and Muslims worldwide and strengthen ties of brotherhood and solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan.
