Kosovo will be represented by two judokas at the Grand Slam in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Erza Muminović will compete in the 48 kilogram category, while Flaka Loxha will compete in the 57 kilogram category.

Both judokas compete on Friday, the first day.

Kosovo’s judo coach, Driton Kuka, has decided to rest the main trump cards, Distria Krasniqi, Laura Fazliu and Akil Gjakova, from this competition.

Meanwhile, for Flaka and Erza, it will be an important competition for stabilization at the elite level of judo.

370 judokas from 39 different countries are competing in Uzbekistan.

Neither of Kosovo’s judokas is a medalist. Both are seeking their first medal at a Grand Slam level competition.
