That being said it’s at least nice to see we are doing some things somewhat correctly. Do I doubt that our government is executing any of this well, yes of course. But as a general principle I think we are moving in the correct direction.

Is it cringe however, yes very.

The post-communist mentality, the constant feeling of being inferior, the desire for perpetual self-flagellation. A stranger speaks positively of Poland—”cringe.” We need to continue slinging mud at each other in the common trough, about how bad and vile we are. We drank the “cringe” you speak of with our own mother’s milk.

  3. its kinda cringe yes, but poland will be the biggest military power in europe pretty soon. atleast when it comes to land power.

  4. What exactly is cringe about it? Can someone expand on the cringe side of this? Is this the same level of cringe, when outsiders claim Poland is so clean and well kept, while one of the main rivers died out from pollution, air quality index is on par with 3rd world countries and then pollution free zones in major cities are so badly done people want to overthrow the local mayor (Krakow)? This level of cringe or what are we talking about in regard of the polish military?

  5. It’s actually pretty demeaning how all our country is to these people is some alt right getaway that is le based and crishchan, when a) not all of us are europhobic assholes and b) we have so much more to offer to the world

  6. No, it’s great that our army looks tough for outsiders, exactly as they should. I hope that we will never know the real combat abilities of our army, but they have very effective “public relations” for sure and that’s the whole reason to keep an army during peace.

Not really, not at all even. I definitely don’t mind it, I think it’s kinda cool that people are starting to realise we even exist

I mean it’s kinda good, and from my perspective it adds several messages:

    1. Message to russia -> fuck off, and along with supporting Ukraine, this works very well
    2. Message to West companies, we have a really great strength, you can invest money into us not being afraid of any conflicts
    3. Patriotic message to the people of Poland

but that’s a perspective of Ukrainian, who, unfortunately, did not have such propaganda before 2022

  9. If you genuinely think that Poland will ever have the arsenal to rival the United States, you are delusional.

If you genuinely think that Poland has a WEAK military, you are uninformed and also maybe delusional.

Just check the numbers, they don’t lie. The only truly imporant think we don’t have is a nuclear arsenal.

Sure, the definition of “superpower” is questionable. But Poland is doing AT LEAST fine.

Im lithuanian and i love seeing these thumbnails. Countries between germany and russia have been slandered so much and for so long, on both eastern and western media, i wont mind a little bit of positive propaganda, even if its a little cringe and sensationalized.

  11. Poland didn’t have any good propaganda or any kind of positive PR probably since 17th century, so let us have it now and cherish it.

Maybe they post those videos because it’s true.
And you not linking your own nation and trying to belittle your own country is the true cringe worthy issue. Just shush and go play with your dolls.

I mean..Polish Economy skyrocketed after communism, the same with our military. Still we have a long way ahead to be considered a superpower

  14. No, i kind of like watching them. Boost my morale, and show some idea how others see us. A bit of positivity in current time is nice

  15. i mean, i dont think superpower is the right word. when i think of superpower i think of stuff like USA, China, Russia, like those gigant military powers, while Poland is getting stronger i dont think its anywhere near the USA amount of power. Though yeeeyyy poland stronk

  16. _palmTreeInTheCorner on

Well, Poland is waaaay ahead of many other post eastern block countries in Central/Eastern Europe like Hungary, Slovakia or Romania. I’m saying this as someone who lives in Hungary. Our country has barely accomplished anything in the last 20 years.

    Good job Poland.
