The Mayor of Tetova, Bilall Kasami, received the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, on an official visit.
This meeting was considered an important moment for deepening relations between the two countries.
“With great pleasure we welcomed the President of Albania, H.E. Bajram Begaj, to Tetovo,” said Kasami, emphasizing the importance of this visit for the city and for inter-Albanian cooperation.
According to him, during the meeting, the excellent bilateral relations, as well as the common European perspective of Albania and North Macedonia, were discussed.
“We talked about the strong relations between our two countries and our common European future,” he declared.
Kasami added that Tetovo has historically played an important role as a bridge in cultural, educational and national cooperation, adding that President Begaj’s visit is proof of the attention that Albania pays to this cooperation.
