The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo (MFJD) has expressed support for the United States’ military attack on Iran.
In a statement on Facebook on Saturday, the MFA emphasizes that the US has taken military action against the Ayatollahs’ regime in Iran, which it describes as a regime that has oppressed its own people for decades, destabilized the region, and threatened international peace and security.
“We stand with President Donald Trump in his efforts to deter regimes that threaten free peoples, protect global stability, and support the legitimate aspirations of the Iranian people for freedom, dignity, and democracy,” the statement said.
Furthermore, the Ministry assesses that regimes that oppress their citizens, support violence against democratic countries, and threaten other peoples cannot be a factor of peace.
According to the MFA, freedom, human rights and the rule of law are universal values that deserve unwavering protection.
“In this spirit, we stand firmly against the Iranian regime and in support of President Trump, standing in solidarity with the Iranian people for a free and democratic future,” the Ministry’s response concludes.

Kosovo’s President, Vjosa Osmani, has supported the United States’ attacks on Iran, describing this moment as an opportunity for freedom for the Iranian people.
“The hour of freedom has come for the people of Iran, thanks to the leadership of the United States and President Donald Trump. As always, the Republic of Kosovo stands steadfastly alongside the United States and its allies in defense of freedom, peace, security and stability,” Osmani wrote in “X”.
She said they also condemn the Iranian regime’s attacks on allies in the Middle East.
“We also strongly condemn the Iranian regime’s attacks on our allies in the Middle East. We will continue to support actions taken by the United States and other allies to put an end to the Iranian regime and give freedom and peace a real chance,” Osmani wrote.
