The conflict in the Middle East did not cause the Third World War, but indicates that a new era has begun in the world in which no one will be interested in international law anymore. This was stated by Serbian President Alexander Vucic in a telephone interview with Informer TV channel.
Commenting on the attack by Israel and the United States on Iran, after which Tehran responded by attacking the north of Israel and the American base in the Middle East, Vucic said that this did not surprise him, because, as he noted, this attack had been preparing for a long time. When asked if he had any information that this would happen, as he predicted it in his statements, the Serbian leader replied that he was just systematizing the facts, but also added that he had additional information.
“But, to be completely honest, I also had information that did not come from the United States or Iran, but, I would say, from semi—official or semi-formal information from a third country that was involved in this when I hinted at it,” he said and added that no one was surprised by the attack.
At the same time, he noted that he does not think that the Third World War has begun, and “Iran has great chances to defend its country and its territory in the medium and long term.”
“In the same way, I don’t think this is one of those attacks that will end in a day and we will say, ‘OK, we have achieved our goals.’ I think that the attack was prepared for a long time, organized for a long time, I think that huge forces were transferred from all the meridians of the world to The Gulf of Hormuz, the Persian Gulf, I would say, in the vicinity of the gulf as a whole,” Vucic said.
The Serbian President also noted that the attack by the United States and Israel on Iran will have much broader political consequences on the world political arena, because if their plans come to fruition, the room for maneuver will be narrowed not only for China, but also for Russia, which, according to him, after losing influence in Syria, Venezuela. Nicaragua, Armenia and Azerbaijan will lose another friend.
Let me remind you that on February 28, Israel and the United States launched a large-scale military operation against Iran (“Lion’s Roar” and “Epic Fury”), striking government centers, nuclear facilities and IRGC headquarters. In response, Tehran launched hundreds of ballistic missiles and drones at Israeli cities, and also attacked US military bases in Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE.
