Ukraine breaks through Russian lines. Not sure where this is because there are several places by this name.
This is odd. Russian bombers escorted by what would be the equivalent of American bombers being escorted by the Blue Angels.

✈️Norwegian F-35 fighter jets intercepted a formation of Tu-95 strategic bombers over the Barents Sea. Su-35S fighter jets from the Russian Knights aerobatic team escorted the bombers.

More Russian stuff blowing up.
Another 870 Russians.
x
A drop in Russian casualties over the last 24 hours, but a notable increase in equipment losses for the invaders.
Over 1700 drones (all types), 58 artillery systems and almost 200 vehicles have been taken out, but just 870 soldiers no longer able to harm Ukraine.

I wonder if Lt. Col. Kurmyskov left us as the result of an accidental mine explosion.
Drone development continues.
Negative drone development also happens.

1/ A Russian drone developer looks back on four years of war in Ukraine with “shame and disappointment”. He complains that rival Russian UAV developers constantly lie and sabotage each other’s projects for profit, with state-run enterprises undermining private developers. ⬇️

2/ ‘UAV Developer’ writes:”Alas, we have no goal of winning, and what’s happening can be described as anarchy, where one hand doesn’t know what the other is doing and even gets in the way.”
3/ “The spiritual and technological upsurge of 22 years has been artificially suppressed. The spiritual upsurge is based on the principle of “just in case,” and after Prigozhin, this belief has only strengthened.
4/ “The technological upsurge is a bit more complicated. Here, we have two components at once: lies and self-interest.
5/ “The lies translate into claims that we’ve already taken Kupyansk many times, that the army has everything, that there are no heavy drones because it’s technologically difficult, and other such nonsense that is poured into the ears of the leadership starting at a certain level.
6/ “For this reason, the top brass is in a warm bath and is passing down the corresponding orders. Alas, little has changed here since the beginning of the Special Military Operation. The only good news is that the Ukrainians are more or less the same.
7/ “Self-interest feeds on the fertile soil of lies. For example, by feeding nonsense to the commander-in-chief, you can prevent competitors’ projects from being tested, waiting for your own team to nail something, and then sell it for 95 million, because there are no equivalents!
Irony is truly dead.

Absolutely gutted to hear about the passing of the excellent @reflextv.bsky.social Paul Conroy. He was an incredible reporter, a delightful human, a tough son of a gun, and will be deeply missed on all levels.
Field reporters are a different breed, the salt of the earth, and Paul was S tier

There’s now a total ban on Anglicisms in any marketing or even business names [except pre-existing registered brands]
Only acceptable Russian words can be used. Punishment for transgressors is 500,000 rubles.

Today is the first day of spring in Ukraine.
x
Today is March 1st, seen as the first day of spring in Ukraine.
Again, the Russians tried to freeze us into submission over winter.
Again, they failed.
We still stand. And we will keep standing, because we know the cost of defeat.
We are Ukrainians. We will not surrender. 🇺🇦
