The Swiss basketball team also lost their fourth game in the World Cup qualifiers.

They lost 60:91 to Bosnia-Herzegovina in Kriens, having already lost 60:84 away against the same opponents last Friday.

The Swiss only kept pace until 10:10, the score was 14:21 after the first quarter and 34:50 at the break. None of the team reached the ten-point mark, with Boris Mbala the best scorer with nine points. The team was coached by Dimitris Menoudakos, as national coach Ilias Papatheodorou was kept back by his club.

The defeat means that the Swiss are practically out of qualifying Group C. They only have a chance of progressing if they win their last two games against Serbia (July 2) and Turkey (July 5). The top three in the group will progress to the second phase of the qualifiers.
