NRK has revealed the international jury members who had a forty percent say in the results of Melodi Grand Prix 2026.

During the final of Melodi Grand Prix, international juries from across Europe determined forty percent of the results. Following the final, NRK has revealed the jurors from eight countries that voted as part of the show. The jurors were:

Sweden

  • Natalie Carrion – Jury Chair – Singer, songwriter and presenter
  • Mathias Bridfelt – Music Editor and Artist Booker
  • Natasha Azarmi – Music journalist for Sveriges P3
  • Robert Sehlberg – Music Director
  • Malin Wiklund – PR manager and artist coach

Denmark

  • Molly Plank – Jury Chair – Head of Delegation for Denmark at the Eurovision Song Contest
  • Ralf Richardt StrΓΈbech – Responsible for music strategy and industry collaboration as the Danish broadcaster DR
  • Anders Ugilt Andersen – Radio presenter
  • Bryan Rice – Singer and songwriter who has competed in Dansk Melodi Grand Prix multiple times
  • Tilde Vinther – Singer

United Kingdom

  • Andrew Cartmell – Jury Chair – Head of Delegation for the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest
  • Lindsay Dracass – Represented the United Kingdom at Eurovision 2001

Jonas Lovv received the maximum amount of points from both the jury and the televote, and will thus represent Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 with the entry β€œYa ya ya”. Jonas Lovv has been drawn to perform in the second half of the second semi-final, on May 14.

Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest+

Norway debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1960 and have won the contest three times – in 1985, 1995 and 2009. The country has the dubious record of finishing last the most times, twelve in total, and have received nul points four times. Norway last won the contest in 2009 when Alexander Rybak broke all records with his song β€œFairytale”. He scored 387 points in the final, receiving 16 sets of 12 points and scoring points from every country.
