KUWAIT: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received a phone call from Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker, who condemned the recent Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait. During the call, Chancellor Stocker expressed Austria’s full solidarity and support for all measures taken by Kuwait to safeguard its security and sovereignty. He also extended sincere condolences over the martyrdom of two army soldiers serving the nation and wished a speedy recovery for those injured.
His Highness the Prime Minister thanked Austria for its firm stance and support for Kuwait’s leadership, government and people. On Tuesday, His Highness also received a call from European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. The EU chief condemned the attacks and reaffirmed Europe’s full support for all measures Kuwait undertakes to protect its security and sovereignty. The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for Europe’s steadfast solidarity with Kuwait’s leadership, government and people. — KUNA
