There’s nothing the Gulf states can do to Iran that the US and Israel aren’t already doing. The potential economic damage they can inflict really outweighs any risk.
And this isn’t really true for Saudi Arabia, they gave up on the idea of normalizing with Israel and instead making a Sunni alliance with Turkey and Pakistan.
