Australia has deployed two military aircraft to the Middle East as part of contingency planning for repatriation, as Foreign Minister Penny Wong warned the conflict in Iran would get worse before it got better.
A government source confirmed Defence had deployed two military aircraft: a C-17A Globemaster heavy-transport aircraft and a KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport.
