Social Media Manager Bear Swearingen ’26 has always enjoyed being on the field, whether playing safety for the Staples football team or defense for the lacrosse team.
“In middle school, I really started loving lacrosse,” Swearingen said.
That passion has carried him through the years, and he is committed to play lacrosse at Bates College. Off the field, he manages Inklings’ social media, designing posts and templates for major stories, believing it’s essential to keep the community informed.
“When someone has a social media post,” Swearingen said. “They text me and I try to post it as soon as possible.”
