Given Trumps open love of Putin and hatred of countries like Ukraine it shocks me how many Poles think they can trust him?? My cousin Marta who lives in Katowice has hated the PiS forever and swears that before the Ukraine war they were cooperating with Putin.
He really is hurting PiS more and more with this sort of thing. Nuclear sharing would be a massive win for Poland, but by making such statements, all he’s doing is giving voters a reason not to vote for PiS if they care about security.
The other side of this, of course, is that many people in PiS would rather be under the Russian nuclear shield..
