Uber continues its nationwide expansion and becomes available in two new cities in Romania, Piatra Neamț and Vaslui. With this new launch, the company now operates in 38 cities across Romania.
Between 6th and 8th of March 2026, new users in Piatra Neamț and Vaslui can use the following discount codes for 2 free UberX rides (up to 20 Lei per trip): STARTPIATRANEAMT (for Piatra Neamț) and STARTVASLUI (for Vaslui).
In both cities, as well as throughout the rest of the country, Uber works exclusively with fully licensed drivers. In Piatra Neamț and Vaslui, the company is introducing UberX, its most popular service, offering affordable and safe rides with short waiting times.

- Afterwards, you will receive an email receipt and you can also download your invoice

Moreover, the app includes several safety tools for passengers, such as the ability to share trip details with loved ones, PIN verification, audio recording and safety buttons, among others.
