The State Border Guard Service is currently not registering movement of personnel or equipment at the border with Belarus, and there are no unusual situations.

The spokesman of the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, said this during a television broadcast, answering questions about possible changes ahead of the upcoming Russia-Belarus drills on the border with Belarus.

“The situation here is radically different from the border with Russia. There are no unusual situations or provocations, nor any indication that movement of equipment or personnel is taking place on the other side of the border,”

According to Demchenko, this direction remains a threat to Ukraine, and it will stay that way until Belarus stops supporting the Russian Federation.

“Therefore our task now is to continue strengthening the border line and our border area,” the spokesman added.

He also noted that joint exercises, as before, are not ruled out.

“But in fact, there is constant pressure on Belarusian territory to check combat readiness and mobilization resources”
