      What we are witnessing is an almost cartoonish display of doing the dumbest thing possible. Iran is so absurdly stupid that they are actually starting to convince Gulf nations to join a war *on the side of Israel.* They could have simply closed the Strait of Hormuz and let the economic stress cause gulf nations to pressure the US to end the war. Instead they did pretty much the only thing that will prevent that.

      How could anyone possibly make the logical jump to think terror bombing apartment buildings of neutral nations will somehow make them turn against the US?
