Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković has held talks with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

In a message published on the social media platform X, Plenković said the conversation focused on current regional developments and their implications for global security.
The Croatian prime minister expressed solidarity with the UAE during what he described as “challenging times”, while also condemning recent Iranian attacks on the UAE and neighbouring countries.
Plenković thanked the Emirati leadership for its cooperation in assisting with the repatriation of Croatian citizens, highlighting the importance of the partnership between the two countries.
The leaders also discussed the broader regional situation and its potential impact on international security.
“Croatia values its partnership with the UAE and remains committed to global stability and cooperation,” Plenković said.
Relations between Croatia and the UAE have strengthened in recent years through diplomatic engagement, economic cooperation and joint efforts in addressing regional and global challenges.
