It would be nice as a millenial to have some stability every now and again.
I have been so anti Starmer for his tax policy and some of what hes done to our industry but fully behind him on his Iran policy. Screw the US. Bullying and threatening us about a month ago and now wanting us to get involved in the most pointless fight with zero exit strategy
I think we all had figured this out already, so my polite question is what does the Government plan to do about it?
Imagine if we had pushed for nuclear and other renewable energy instead of continuing to rely upon oil?

Leaving the EU caused an absolute nightmare for this country. Yeah, COVID and the war in Ukraine obviously played a part, but the triple whammy of those three has absolutely fucked the country big time. Brexit takes the crown as the worst of the lot, though. Non-EU immigration has tripled, and those “Nigel boats” that simply weren’t a thing before we left are everywhere. The price of everyday goods has doubled, energy bills are twice what they used to be, everything is just totally fucked. Honestly, if we could just hit undo on Brexit, we might actually have a fighting chance at clawing back that decent standard of living that feels completely out of reach right now.
This is how the left needs to be attacking the war and Trump by focusing on the harm it is doing to the UK and UK families.
The left need to realise that the communist revolutionaries of the 20th century were able to motivate their people because they focused on local issues, put another way imagine Lenin standing on a podium whining about the plight of Welsh miners or segregation in the US south, people would just go home.
If Starmer had involved the UK then the right would be taking about Starmer causing a refugee crisis, so the left need to be saying the Tangerine Palpatine and BFF Farage by association are creating one.
We are a failed generation. Boomer greed is ripping opportunities from us millennials and Gen-Z.

As this war was started by USA I think its only fair to raise taxes on American businesses profiting from the UK, Amazon, Starbucks, Apple etc and use this money towards defence. It’s totally unacceptable that the hard working uk tax payers have to have money redirected from heathcare and public services.
Do you think there should be some real accountability for Donald Trump’s economic terrorism? Possibly cutting off all trade with America until further notice? Surely something has to change.

Starmer really tries being grown up and offer solutions. However, our media rewards people like Farage who promises ‘change’ (for theses journo’s all clearly want his proposed tax cuts).
Starmer the status quo vs Farage the ‘anti establishment’ candidate (which, lol) is a joke if you ask me but the dark gloom picture Starmer proposes won’t sell well in a general election.
It’s sad, but Farage may be PM soon.

Given the oil price is about to shoot through the roof and supplies are going to be limited, can we talk about RTO being ridiculous?
They need to lower or remove taxes on fuel, and stop the forecourt profiteering going on!!
How did the fuel go up when it probably takes 6 to 10 weeks to get oil from source, refined and to the pump, and prices increased same day🤔

Tories are to blame here, their lack of planning and austerity and not building enough infras to rely on renewables is what has caused us to feel the blunt of Trumps war. Now they argue we should be fighting alongside Trump.
And the best of it is, absolutely none of it was necessary and absolutely none of those responsible for doing it to you will feel a thing.
And renewables / windmills are apparently the problem.
I moved to the countryside 4 years ago, around the time Russia invaded Ukraine. I have an oil boiler. I feel like I’ll never financially recover.
Trump is an enemy of the UK and should be treated as much.
