Damascus, Mar.9 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa convened a meeting on Monday with a number of youth representatives from various initiatives and sectors.
During the meeting, held at the People’s Palace in Damascus, the President listened to their remarks and ideas on ways to empower young people, develop their skills, and support youth initiatives in a manner that contributes to enhancing their role in the process of national development.
President al-Sharaa affirmed that young people constitute a key pillar in the coming phase. He also underlined the importance of creating an environment that allows them to innovate and participate actively in community development.
The President further stressed the need to support rehabilitation and integration programs for youth with disabilities, in a way that helps in benefiting from their abilities and potential in the national development process as active partners in their homeland.
