China’s super computer intelligence ship is probably providing some of that intelligence to the Russians.

Not surprisingly.
It is not different from what the US are doing with Ukraine since 4 years.

I notice this doesn’t include his tacit approval of the war in the first place

US has been sharing intelligence and targeting data with Ukraine for years and we have been told that it is not a party of the conflict. Has something changed recently?

I’ve seen this story since Thursday so which sign is the first sign?

Sure, but satellites are flying over the region anyway, sending Iranians the pictures doesn’t cost anything. Kind of a no brainer for Russia.
But notably Russia is not sending anything that would actually cost them anything. No anti-air, no missiles, no equipment. For one, they don’t have extra to spare, and secondly, they really aren’t shedding tears over the Islamic Republic.
