      Geweldig dat er bepaalde generaties zijn die gemiddeld 1 huis per persoon bezitten en de nieuwe generatie met moeite een huis kan huren (laat staan kopen) omdat werken dubbel en dik wordt belast terwijl de huisprijzen de lucht in schieten. En riskeer het niet om met je al belaste spaarcentjes te gaan investeren want daar wil vadertje staat je nog eens op belasten! Kill me please.

      I mean, if you count the theoretical value of the house I’m paying off AFTER I have finished paying it, sure. But what’s in my bank account… that’s a different story.

      We are not double as wealthy as a dutch person as example..

      Very high ownership, doesn’t mean that the median Belgian has more money to spend on leisure, luxury, or holidays at the end of the month.

      Same time we pay over 55% taxes and they wanna add more, we cant pay the pensions of those who worked their entire lives and we have to tighten the belt because our expenses are trough the roof. NVM the scandals of people who abused the social security system for the sick for MILIONS driving luxery and living like a king for years without the government noticing. We have people in 2/3 of the country that rather not work because they receive money anyway. Some never worked here and arent *from* here.. each government of 2 of the 3 main areas here in Belgium despise the other one because we pay the bill and want them to jump in instead of paying for expenses they cant pay themselves. Also we had our capital city/area run blind for nearly 2 years. During then the shitshow was unbothered to continue. Just because they ultimatum said never wanna govern with the main political system of that 1 area they dispised. Guys Belgium isnt wealthy its a wheel turning like a square as they say here and dont get me started on the political scandals.
