South Korea’s national baseball team arrived in Miami on Wednesday for the quarterfinals of the World Baseball Classic(WBC).
Team Korea left for Miami from Tokyo on Tuesday, a day after beating Australia 7-2 to qualify for the knockout stage of the WBC for the first time in 17 years.
The team will begin training Thursday for the quarterfinals, which kick off Saturday.
South Korea will face the winner of the final match of Group D between the Dominican Republic and Venezuela at 7 a.m. Saturday, Korean Standard Time.
