CALDWELLS, NJ — An Easter food drive will take place at a local church in the Caldwells on Tuesday, March 31.
A “ham, turkey and food collection” will take place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. behind St. Aloysius Church (Trinity Gym Vestibule), 219 Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell.
Organizers shared the following advisory about the food drive:
“If you have a ham, frozen turkey or turkey breast you would like to donate, please bring it to the gym vestibule and a volunteer will take it out of the car for you. Also accepting non-perishable, unexpired food and supermarket gift cards. Donations will benefit local families first, then to Our Lady Help of Christians in East Orange and St John’s Soup Kitchen in Newark.”
“Thank you, as always, for your generosity,” organizers added.
