      The concern is that a 2/3 majority in the Diet doesn’t necessarily mean 2/3 of the Japanese public wants to ditch the pacifist constitution. If the LDP uses this mandate to force through revision without a deep social consensus, it could backfire

      I would amend the constitution as follows:

      1. Remove articles preventing Japan from having a proper military. 

      2. Mandatory retirement for any political figure 65 or older.
