The Tory candidate got eight votes. EIGHT VOTES! That’s hilarious.

The greens took most of their votes from the Lib Dem’s and a some from Labour.
Reform gained 7% – not really from the the conservatives as they only had 30 votes 3 years ago. Likely from Labour

So the greens are increasingly becoming the main opposition to reform people are willing to vote for. The UK is so finished if these are the two choices

Congratulations to the winner, but a reminder to everyone that local council elections (especially by-elections) don’t really mean anything for the bigger picture. And in this case you especially can’t read anything into the performance of Reform/Tory – this is a very leftist seat and they never stood any kind of chance here.
Although I do also find it highly amusing that the Tory only got 8 votes.

Compare and contrast how the Liberal Democrats handled their defeat here, to Reform in Gorton and Denton.
