I’m visiting Poland soon and looked up what state or states it is the size of for context. Apparently Poland is the same size as the US state of Arizona. It’s not one of the smaller states, not the biggest either.

Keep in mind, this is the entire municipality. The Cyberpunk stuff you see online is just the very urban core. The Chinese definition of a city is quite different from ours. They have this thing called prefecture level cities, which often include countryside. This stuff is complicated, but weirdly interesting.
