Cloudy Skies, Light Rain Expected for Parts of Nation

Skies across the country will be mostly cloudy Sunday, with light rain expected through the evening in parts of southern Gyeonggi Province, Gangwon, Chungcheong and southern regions.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, skies will remain partly to mostly cloudy nationwide on Monday, while ultrafine dust levels are forecast to reach “bad” levels in central regions and parts of North Chungcheong and North Gyeongsang provinces.

Monday morning lows will range from minus four to six degrees Celsius, with Seoul expected to start the day at around one degree, about two to five degrees lower than Sunday.

Many areas will see temperature gaps of more than 15 degrees between daytime highs and nighttime lows, prompting health‑related precautions.

Waves across all coastal waters on Monday are expected to remain relatively low, ranging from half a meter to two meters.
