Not surprised. Okinawan has always understood oppression as they were victims for a long time. Similar to the irish in recent memory almost always being anti-imperialism.Â

Soldiers are literal property of the US government. Can’t say or do anything.

I understand taking a stand against sending the SDF. But this is literally land that belongs to the US along with the equipment and soldiers sort of do too, you’re not really a private citizen as active military. What exactly are they protesting?
