The EU-Bosnia and Herzegovina Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC) held its 8th meeting on 11 and 12 March 2026 in the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

The meeting was co-chaired by Mr Davor Ivo STIER (Chair of the European Parliament Delegation) and Mr Zdenko ĆOSIĆ (Acting Chair of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Delegation to the EU- Bosnia and Herzegovina SAPC).

The Agenda included the following items:

  • The Law on Courts and the Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council, and the appointment of the EU chief negotiator
  • Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Reform Agenda
  • Electoral integrity and implementation of election-related ECtHR and Constitutional Court rulings
  • Financial sustainability of public broadcasters
  • Implementation of the EU’s Entry-Exit System since October 2025.

The SAPC will exchanged views with:

  • Ms Elvira HABOTA, Director, Directorate for European Integration of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Mr Zoran ZELJKO, Director, Directorate for Economic Planning of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on behalf of Bosnia and Herzegovina
  • Ms Barbara JÉSUS-GIMENO, Head of Unit for Bosnia and Herzegovina, DG ENEST, on behalf of the European Commission
  • Mr Emanuele GIAUFRET, Deputy Managing Director – Western Europe, on behalf of the European External Action Service
