They weren’t paying attention to the asinine behavior of the previous Trump administration; they had the their heads up their asses (like the majority of teenagers). In 2024, they were four years removed from the young voters who turfed Trump in 2020. They were 8 years removed from the young voters who voted for Trump in 2016.
A lot of shit went down between 2017 and 2021 of which they are, at best, marginally aware and these are the least qualified to tell “do your own research” because they are inundated with people and bots peddling disinformation and misinformation. Hell, some of these people have jobs called “influencers”.
Think about it. A job description that literally tells you that they are trying to influence your decisions. ‘Influencer’, not ‘researcher’, not ‘source of accurate information’.
If you wanted to know the facts about local, national and world events, would you watch a news network that called itself *The Propaganda Network*?
Probably not. This is why Fox News, an avowed entertainment network, doesn’t call itself “Fox Propaganda”.
